FX3 Overview

Vytek laser released the FX 3 in 2009; the FX line is one of the best selling medium format laser systems on the market. The FX3 is available in 3 standard sizes with working areas ranging from 2’ x 3’ (610 mm x 910 mm) to our 3’ x 4’ (950 mm x 1310 mm) system. The FX 3 series are gantry based XY systems that utilizes a flying optic beam delivery with an ultra-light gantry design. This allows for  high  accelerations while maintaining a high positional accuracy. The FX 3  utilizes precision polyurethane belts that are steel reinforced to drive both the X and Y axes. The Z axis or the table axis is accomplished with a 4 post screw so the table surface moves up and down to a fixed head assembly.  The multideck table systems integrates  a engraving deck, slat bar cutting surface or an optional honeycomb deck. The FX 3 series use state of the art brushless servo drives for X and Y motion.

 

The FX3 system includes our unique cutting head attachment that allows use of a cutting nozzle and the choice of focal length optics.
